Black Bear Diner has officially opened its new Vista location, welcoming guests on Tuesday, May 26, at 605 W. Vista Way. The restaurant occupies the former Cocoâs Restaurant and Bakery site and becomes the brandâs second location in San Diego County, joining the existing El Cajon diner. Founded in Mount Shasta, California in 1995, Black Bear Diner has grown into a nationwide brand known for its rustic lodgeâstyle dĂ©cor, bearâthemed interiors, newspaperâstyle menus, and hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. The Vista opening expands the companyâs footprint to 170 locations across 13 states, reinforcing its focus on familyâfriendly dining and classic comfort food.
